An Australian and his catch phrase:
"What A Day."
Why is “What a Day” Sam's catchphrase? Because every day in this career is unpredictable, challenging, and completely alive. Whether he's discovering a new layer of truth in a song, losing myself in choreography, or crafting a story through music, Sam wake's up each morning chasing that feeling.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Sam moved to Los Angeles to pursue my BFA in Musical Theatre at the AMDA College of the Performing Arts, graduating in 2026. From the studios of his schools back home to the classrooms of AMDA, Sam has continually sought growth in every aspect of performance. Beyond acting, singing, and dancing, Sam's challenged himself to explore directing, composing, and choreographing, always striving to expand my creative vocabulary.

In just his second semester at AMDA, Sam was cast as Milky White and Ensemble in the MainStage production of Into the Woods, where he discovered a new skill in puppetry under the direction of Thomas O’Leary. Later, I took on the role of Graffiti Pete in In the Heights, adding Latin and Salsa dance styles to his repertoire.

One of his most demanding yet rewarding experiences was performing as an onstage Swing in Rent, covering 17 different bit roles across 6 male cast members in addition to his own onstage track. It tested his adaptability, stamina, and quick study skills in the best possible ways. Most recently, he portrayed Ernst in Spring Awakening, a role that taught him the power in being vulnerability and emotionally honesty to create a profound connection.

Before stepping into musical theatre, he trained extensively in dance for over a decade, building a strong foundation in ballet before branching into tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, and Broadway styles. His sense of rhythm and musicality has been shaped not only through his long dance training, but also his eight years of clarinet and two years of piano. He's also studied music composition for two years, crafting pieces that blend cinematic and theatrical soundscapes, sticking to his promise of seizing every opportunity of every corner in performing arts.
Bringing all these disciplines together, he recently created an entire original project titled It’s Hard sometimes in which he produced, directed, composed, choreographed, danced in, and edited entirely on his own.
As an artist, Sam's endlessly curious, constantly exploring how theatre, dance, and music intertwine to create something greater than the sum of their parts. His goal is simple: to move people, to make them feel something real, and to leave them changed when the curtain falls.

So for Sam, every rehearsal, every performance, every note sung or step taken is another moment that makes him pause and say it again:
“What a day.”
